Follow the hallway and investigate the right path. You'll likely notice the 1 Bacon Soup (8) on the shelf next to the door and once it's been collected, turn right. You can play darts if you want to, but there's nothing else of interest down here (yet) so return upstairs and go straight. Open the door and collect the 5 Bacon Soups (7) sitting on the shelves. Interact with the time clock if you so wish and turn around to notice a door beside a dart board. Go through the door on the left and head downstairs. As you retrace your steps, you'll notice the shutter has opened and the door opposite is creaked open a little. Your next task is to turn the thing on, which requires a few,] seemingly random objects. Once both cores are inserted, you can pull the lever and behold the majestic Ink Machine! If you interact with the lever, you'll be tasked with finding 2 power cores both of which are on the left side of this room (one on the shelf and one in the chest which you need to interact with). Notice the graffiti on the wall before making a sharp left again and following the corridor around, making note of the shutter/accordion door on your left and the door opposite, and into the room with the titular Ink Machine.

On your left will be a dresser and in the bottom drawer will be 1 Bacon Soup (2), so collect it and continue to the right. If you want to help the development team, and speed up the release of the second chapter, be sure to support them on Patreon.Turn back around and, when facing the door labeled Exit (the door you came in through), go down the left hallway.
#Bendy and the ink machine chapter 2 demo series#
Though it is very short, as it can be completed in around twenty minutes, there are a lot of things to appreciate, and the series shows a lot of promise. Cartoon-themed survival horror game that will haunt your dreamsīased on this first chapter, Bendy and the Ink Machine certainly has our attention. A few additional gameplay mechanics are introduced towards the end of the chapter, though, so we will probably see more of them in future installments. The puzzle you need to complete is very straightforward.

There aren’t a lot of jump scares to be wary of, but they are very well timed. The gameplay is relatively simple, as you only need to gather a few objects and activate a few switches in order to complete your mission. It makes you wonder why our hero thought it was a good idea to activate the machine in the first place, especially with all the ominous messages that have been written on the walls. Turn on the creepy-looking ink machine, what could go wrong? The sepia art style gives the game a unique look, and it contrasts well with the cheerful posters on the walls, making it seem like whatever is happening here is, plain and simply, wrong. It does not take long to realize that some very strange things are going on. The main character is invited by a friend to visit an old cartoon workshop, where, of course, our protagonist finds himself all alone. If Disney were to make a horror game, this is what it would look likeįrom the backstory to the setting, everything pretty much screams vintage cartoon. And come to life they will, but not in the form you were probably expecting. The first chapter of Bendy and the Ink Machine takes place in the early days of animation, when ink was used to bring characters to life. Seemingly harmless characters make great horror villains, as there are few things scarier than realizing even an adorable cartoon critter can and will come to get you, turning them into the stuff of nightmares.
